Why haven’t I received my affidavit?

This document outlines the conditions under which you will receive your affidavit. Understanding these requirements is essential to ensure a smooth process.

You will receive your affidavit when the following conditions are met:

• You have paid your invoice.

• Your notice has passed its publication date(s).

• The publisher has signed and notarized the affidavit.

Once this is uploaded to your Notice Detail page, an automated email will be sent to you with a copy of the digital document. Typically, affidavits are completed within a week (5 business days) of the last publication date. The availability depends on the newspaper's signing schedule and whether they must file the affidavit with the county clerk.

If all these conditions have been met and your affidavit has not yet been uploaded to your Column account, please contact us at help@column.us. A member of our team will then check on its status.
