What if an affidavit needs to be sent to the courthouse?

In certain states, advertisers are prompted to specify if they'd like an affidavit sent to the courthouse.

Note: Sending affidavits to the courthouse is available only in certain states.

If your advertiser requests that their affidavit be sent to the courthouse, you will see the courthouse as one recipient for a paper affidavit under Notice Details. The affidavit will automatically be mailed after you upload a digital copy to Column and they have paid for their invoice. 

If you believe an affidavit needs to be sent to the courthouse, but the advertiser did not specify this, you can always edit the notice and add the courthouse as an affidavit recipient.
