How do mail affidavits work?

Customers or publishers can request a mailed affidavit during the notice placement flow by entering multiple addresses and requesting as many copies as needed for an additional fee of $10/per copy. Digital affidavits are legally valid in most states and are delivered faster than physical copies. Digital delivery remains free and is the default option.

Please note, this is not a request for a required wet-signature affidavit. Column will automatically mail out a printed copy of the affidavit uploaded to the Notice Detail page. Once submitted, the mail request is listed on the Notice Detail page under the Affidavit section.

When the affidavit is uploaded to the account, our mail service will automatically mail the requested copies to the listed address. Please note that if payment is required before the affidavit is released (default setting), the affidavit won't be mailed until payment is received.
