How do I transition to using Column?
When you're ready to start using Column, our Customer Success team will meet with you to outline a transition plan. We understand that transitioning to Column will be gradual, so we like to set clear goals for informing your customers and helping them learn the new system.
As a preview, here are some tactics we recommend for your transition:
Proactively inform customers. Contact your frequent public notice customers immediately so they can set up and use Column the next time they place a notice.
Retroactively inform customers. For advertisers, you may not inform upfront; you can share instructions for using Column a few weeks into your transition period, or you can explain the process to customers as they place new notices.
Upload notices yourself. Any notices you still receive outside Column can be processed through the platform. All you have to do is click Upload Notice from your notice dashboard and proceed through the filing flow. Invoices and affidavits will be available as usual.
Post a link on your website. Be sure to post your unique Column link on your website if advertisers check your website before placing a notice!
