How do I transition to using Column?
When you're all set up and ready to start using Column, our Customer Success team will meet with you to outline a Success Plan for your transition. We understand that transitioning over to Column will be a gradual process, which is why we like to set clear goals for informing your customers and helping them learn the new system.
As a preview, here are some tactics we recommend for your transition:
Proactively inform advertisers. Contact your frequent public notice customers right away, so that they can get set up and ready to use Column the next time they place a notice.
Retroactively inform advertisers. For advertisers you may not inform upfront, you can share instructions for using Column a few weeks into your transition period, or you can explain the process to customers as they place new notices.
Upload notices yourself. Any notices that you still receive outside Column can be processed through the platform. All you have to do is click Upload Notice from your notice dashboard and proceed through the filing flow. Invoices and affidavits will be available as usual.
Post a link on your website. Be sure to post your unique Column link on your website, in case advertisers check your website before placing a notice!
