Can I set a specific rate for my customer?

Edited

You can assign different rates for different customers. In the Customers section of My Organization settings, you can change the information and settings stored on a particular customer or organization.

Note: We recommend assigning rates at an organizational level. That way, the rate will apply to all organization members, and you won't have to repeat this step every time a new user is added to an organization. Rates assigned on the individual level will only apply to that user, regardless of the organization they are a part of. Rates set at the organizational level will override those set at the individual level.

Click "More Options" while viewing a customer to edit the rates associated with that customer. You can select a rate from the dropdown menu or click "Add New Rate," which will redirect you to the rates table. This setting will determine the rate for customer notices when you create their invoices.

In addition to applying specific rates to a customer, you can use a discount for a customer that will be applied to all of their submitted notices. How can I add a discount for my customer? This can be particularly useful when working with agencies like state associations. Instead of having a special rate, their notices may receive a discount on your regular rates. After making any changes, be sure to save your updates. You can edit these settings at any time.
