How do I change my notification preferences?
To adjust the in-app and email notifications you receive from Column, log in to Column and go to Settings > My Account > Notification Settings. Here, you can decide whether to receive notifications about core events in the public notice process. These settings only apply to your account.
This page categorizes notifications, allowing you to tailor your settings to your role. For instance, if you're in Billing/Accounts Payable, we recommend enabling 'Billing Notifications and Invoices' and 'Organization Notices' while disabling other notifications. This way, you'll only receive notifications about new invoices, voided invoices, refunds, and payment confirmations for all notices in the organization.
Organization Notices: By default, this toggle is enabled when you join an organization, ensuring you stay informed about all notices. If you prefer to receive notifications only for notices associated with your email address, you can toggle this off.
Notice Receipt Confirmed: You'll receive a notification when the newspaper confirms your notice.
Notice Status Updates: You'll be notified when a notice is edited or canceled.
Billing Notifications and Invoices: You'll receive notifications when invoices are created, voided, refunded, and paid. If e-mail notifications are enabled, they will include a link to pay online.
Affidavit Notifications: You'll receive a notification when the affidavit for your notice is uploaded to your account. If e-mail notifications are enabled and the invoice is paid for (or you have access to affidavits before payment), the affidavit will be attached to the e-mail.
